General introduction

The intelligent multi-frequency eddy current detector is a new generation of eddy current nondestructive testing equipment. With the adoption of the most advanced digital electronic technology, multi-frequency eddy current technology, and microprocessor technology, it can achieve effective inner wall and outside wall cracks detection of the ferromagnetic and non- ferromagnetic metal pipes in real time. It is a complete set of eddy current testing system, but also integrated with regular frequency, ordinary multi-channel eddy current testing system to be a new system of high-performance, multi-purpose, intelligent eddy current testing system.

It has a number of relatively independent test channels and can get the absolute and differential eddy current signals from the corresponding test channels. The testing frequency ranges from 50Hz to 10MHz. instruments for is also featured with weak signals amplification function and strong anti-interference ability. The through-type probe is usually applied for pipeline inspection for the high sensitivity of the pipe wall, the outer surface cracks, pits, corrosion, thinning and inside surface defects of the wall material. For the features of automatic detection, high sensitivity and stable performance, it is particularly applicable to nuclear energy, electric power, petrochemical, aerospace, aviation and other sectors for the various in service tubes ( copper, titanium, aluminum, zirconium, etc.) and metal parts flaw detection and wall thickness measuring, and also a variety of ferromagnetic pipe flaw detection, analysis and evaluation, such as: boiler tubes, heat exchanger tube bundle, underground pipes and cast iron pipe for pre-service and in-service testing.

The instrument has optional multiple testing procedures, the same screen multi-window display mode, the same screen to display more than one phase of the eddy current signal, the magnitude of changes in its waveform. Multiple relatively independent detection channels, up to four frequency mixing unit which is able to suppress interference signals generated by the support plate, dents, sediment and pipe cold in-service inspection, discriminating, and improve the evaluation accuracy of eddy current testing signal. And because of using a fully digital design, standard testing procedures can be set up within the instrument to facilitate the recall for site testing.
